Nice knowing you through this awesome network. I'm from Singapore, currently studying History at the National University of Singapore and working on a thesis on museums. Are you doing Museum Studies at your university? ..And Happy Year of the Rat to you :).
Sorry you can't be at MW2008. My paper should be on the MW2008 website shortly before the conference itself.
I recommend the Museums and the Web conference if you are ever able to attend. You might also consider EVA London 2008 - see http://www.eva-conferences.com/eva_london/2008 - museum communities are in scope for this (I am in charge of a session including this area) and it is possible to submit an abstract by the end of January - see http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=evalondon2008 .
If you have any relevant publications, do send details. Do use email (see below) if easiest.
Glad to hear some of my material was useful to you and you are welcome to link up here. Have you been to any of the Museums and the Web conferences? I will be presenting a mini-workshop on wikis at MW2008 if you are attending.
