Thanks for your input and thoughts. Wiki's work best for a community collaborating on something with a common aim in mind. In general you need a champion to get things going. People are happy to surf wikis, but getting them to make their first edit is much more difficult. Once they get the hang of it, they tend to be winding to participate more, but until/unless the barrier is broken, nothing much will happen. I hope this helps!
